_swallowed sentences examined how discomfort is cloaked by silence and evasion, letting the unsaid shape perception and memory. Inspired by Elfriede Jelinek’s words — 'What we do not see does not exist' — the exhibition traced the thresholds between presence and absence, speech and muteness. Through an immersive setting, it exposed the quiet mechanisms by which reality is edited and truths remain withheld, confronting the unseen 'elephant in the room' that persists despite invisibility.
