_SORRY_I apologise

05/2025, Arosita Gallery, Sofia, Bulgaria

_SORRY_I apologize investigated the complex meaning of apology and forgiveness in the digital age. Once a deeply personal act that required humility and genuine dialogue, apologizing had evolved into a public ritual shaped by media and social pressures. The exhibition explored the tension between authentic remorse and performative gestures driven by image management and viral outrage. It also reflected on institutional apologies for historical injustices — questioning whether they represented true moral responsibility or merely served to shape collective memory and legitimacy. Against this backdrop, _SORRY_I apologize invited visitors to engage with the ambiguities of guilt, responsibility, and forgiveness in a world where communication was constant and the line between private and public had already blurred.
